LG G3 Now On Sale in the UK, Can be yours for as low as £480

June 26, 2014 - Written By Alexander Maxham

Those of you in the UK are pretty lucky. As the LG G3 is available today over in the UK, and it’s selling for as low as £480 right now. While those of us in the US still have no idea when the LG G3 will be making it’s way across the pond into our area. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer though. The LG G3 has a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 3000mAh battery, Android 4.4.2, 13MP with Laser AutoFocus rear-facing camera and a 2.1MP front-facing camera. There is a version of the LG G3 with 3GB of RAM, but that’s not coming to the UK, unfortunately. However, the UK does get Wireless charging out of the box, while the rest of the world needs to buy cases to get wireless charging. We’ve already reviewed the LG G3 just a few weeks ago and really liked the device. While the battery life wasn’t as good as it’s predecessor, we still felt it was pretty good given the display size and the amount of pixels it has.

While the LG G3 was slated to roll out in many countries on June 27th, some UK retailers and carriers have decided to put it up for sale a bit early. Right now, O2, Three and Carphone Warehouse all have the LG G3 for just £479.95 SIM-Free. And if you’re looking to pick up the LG G Watch, Three is offering a £70 discount on the LG G Watch, which went up for pre-order just yesterday and will be shipping come July 3rd. It should also be hitting other countries in Asia, and Europe tomorrow as well. Those of us in the US are still anxious to get our hands on the LG G3 and hopefully we don’t have to wait too much longer. How many of you are anxious to get your hands on the LG G3?
