Samsung Kick Launches for those Soccer (or Football) Fans

For those of you outside the US, this is known as Football, but in the US it’s soccer. And with the FIFA World Cup beginning to get underway in about a month, Samsung has announced they will have their own app with complete scores, video highlights and so much more for the World Cup. The app is launching in the near future, it’ll be giving Soccer/Football fans access to live results, stats, team and player rankings and so much more. Samsung Kick will also update you on news of your favorite teams or players. It’s basically like MLB At Bat, or NBA Gametime, but for the FIFA World Cup an by Samsung. It actually looks like a really nice app as well, which you can head over to the source to check out the full hands on.

Samsung Kick will also offer articles from some of your favorite sites on news about the World Cup, and about teams, players, etc. It’s basically a Soccer or Football fan’s one-stop-shop app for everything related to the sport. The folks over at got to play with a beta version of Samsung Kick, and they have some pretty positive things to say about the app. Which is definitely refreshing to hear. We should see the app launch shortly before the world cup starts, we just hope that it’s not exclusive to Samsung devices, like other sports app have been in the past, but I wouldn’t put it past Samsung as the Milk Music app is still exclusive to their devices.

How many of you are excited for the World Cup in about a month’s time? Who are you rooting for to win it all? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
