Featured Review: Pelican ProGear Voyager Case for the Samsung Galaxy S5

Today, we’re taking a look at another case from Pelican. This one is the Voyager case for the Samsung Galaxy S5. And in my opinion, it’s a competitor to the Otterbox cases. It’s a rugged/drop proof case, and it comes with a screen protector as well. There’s the back of the case, then the front, which gives the sides of the device a bit of a lip. Pelican also has a holster for this case, and it works surprisingly well. This one is available in white/gray, and is also military grade, so you know it’s pretty tough and rugged.

I’ve been using the Voyager case on the Samsung Galaxy S5 for a few days now, and while it is a bit bulky, I never have to worry about dropping it as I know it’s protected. So those that might be accident prone or clumsy, you should be fine with the Voyager case from Pelican. It’s a nice alternative to the Otterbox cases, which are pretty expensive and a bit ugly in my opinion. Although when you’re looking for a rugged case, “pretty” doesn’t really exist. It also has four layers of protection and should withstand just about anything you through at it, or drop it into. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee, which is great to have on cases like this as well.

The Pelican ProGear Voyager Case is sold exclusively at AT&T and is being sold for $50. So it’s not a bad price at all. Considering Otterbox cases are normally $60 and up. You can buy yours here, and AT&T has them in black, white and Blue for those interested. How many of you are interested in checking out the Pelican ProGear Voyager case for the Samsung Galaxy S5?
