Pay for Dominos Pizza with Google Wallet, Get Free Chicken

April 21, 2014 - Written By Alexander Maxham

Dominos Pizza was probably one of the first to allow you to order pizza from their app, and then track it from the app or on their website. Which is amazing, and one of the reasons why I order pizza from them. Now Dominos is about to score some more points among us geeks. They are branching out and will be accepting Google Wallet as a payment option. As of this morning, the Dominos app has been updated to support Google Wallet, which is great. Even thought we have our Google Wallet cards which act just like any other card, it’s still great to have Google Wallet support. Hopefully more and more places will start to accept it.

But wait, there’s more. Now through June 15th, if you order pizza and use Google Wallet – of course you’ll need to spend at least $10 – you’ll get a free order of specialty chicken. That’s right, Dominos is actually pushing Google Wallet instead of just quietly adding it in there.

“This is yet another way Domino’s is using technology to improve our customer experience,” said Patrick Doyle, Domino’s Pizza president and chief executive officer. “Google Wallet is a great technology that allows customers even more flexibility and convenience when it comes to paying for their Domino’s orders.”

It’s really cool to see Dominos branching out, and also offering free chicken with the use of Google Wallet for payments. You don’t see many other pizza places doing that. How many of you are going to be ordering pizza from Dominos with the app now and using Google Wallet? Let us know in the comments below.
