Today, Lenovo announced four new tablets – probably not the best day to do so given all the April Fools jokes going around. The A7-30, A7-50, A8 and A10. The numbers denote the size of the tablets. So that’s 2 7-inch tablets, an 8-inch tablet and a 10-inch tablet.

“A7-30 delivers an exceptional audio experience with Dolby®-enhanced dual-front speakers in an ultra-portable form factor. A7-50’s 7-inch, wide-view HD display reveals sharper text and web pages for the optimal reading and viewing experience. A8 comes in a range of bold color options to suit different personalities and styles, while providing total entertainment on the go. A10 provides an amazing video watching experience, without staying at home, with a superb 10.1″ wide HD display and smooth video playback all day long”
We don’t have complete specs on these new tablets just yet, but I wouldn’t expect anything high-end especially given the pricing for these tablets. We’re looking at £99 for the A7-30 and A7-50, while the A8 is going for £139.99 and £169.99 for the A10 tablets. As stated in their press release the 10-inch A10 is made for entertainment and consuming content, while the 8 and 7-inch tablets are more for reading books, catching up on reading your favorite news websites – like Android Headlines. I’d expect the specs for the A10 to be the best of all the tablets.
“Lenovo’s latest A-series tablet family is designed to meet the demands of today’s young, active users who are always on the go, and have lifestyle requirements that are as diverse as their own personalities. With these latest additions to our tablet portfolio, we’ve introduced devices that speaks directly to each consumer’s habits, whether it’s enjoying music, reading e-books or watching videos on the go,” said Shao Tao, vice president Lenovo and head of Mobile BU, “Our Android family of tablets will appeal to users around the world as we’ve built our products to be highly flexible to serve multiple needs and budgets.”
