OtterBox Announces Defender and Commuter Series Cases for the LG G Flex

Now that the LG G Flex is out and available on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile, and that we’ve done our top 10 cases for the LG G Flex. OtterBox has decided to announce a couple of new cases for the LG G Flex. OtterBox is known for their “bulky” cases which are great for protecting your devices, but they don’t always look all that great. But they are a trusted name in device protection, as most people that drop their devices a lot order an OtterBox as soon as they get their device.

OtterBox has announced the Defender Series and the Commuter Series cases for the LG G Flex. The Defender is available in Black, Glacier and Papaya, as is the Commuter. The Defender is going for $59.95 right now and the Commuter for $44.95. Both items are ready for your ordering pleasure right now.

The Defender Series is made of materials and constructed of multiple layers, which will protect your device and allow it to move freely with the device while it’s still providing a cushioned and custom fit. The main differences between the Defender and Commuter is that the Defender is a bit more bulkier and has a belt clip on the back. Both cases do have the cut outs for the speaker, camera and back power and volume rocker. There’s also a flap for the headphone jack and microUSB port. The Commuter on the other hand, is just the case, it does have all the same cutouts as the Defender, obviously, but it doesn’t have the holster that the Defender has.

It’s always great to see even more cases come out for devices like the G Flex, especially since this is a device that probably won’t be super popular. But it’s popular enough to get OtterBox on board, and they don’t even make cases for the Moto X or any Nexus device. Check out the source link below to grab yours.
