StumbleUpon’s 5by App Offers Curated Video’s For All Tastes

Chances are if you use the web, you’ve used StumbleUpon. The ever popular web page and app that shows you all sorts of cool things based off of your interests, has moved on from providing you with just crazy, cool, funny, or just generally weird things to look at, and have decided they want to offer users the chance to get a more customized video watching experience. With their new app called 5by. This new app will work in ways much like StubleUpon does to give you a customized browsing experience for things you like, but solely with videos. It can be tailored to your tastes so that it knows what you want to watch, and in one continuous stream it’ll serve you up tons of videos.

You can set the parameters of how and what you want to watch based off of tons of different factors like mood, social interests and time of day, and 5by says that it’s app will learn what you like even more over time. So the more videos you watch, the more it learns and begins to know your tastes. Tired of searching for videos all on your own? Let 5by do the work for you. You can teach it what you like and what you want to see, so there’s no having to manually sift through a handful of videos that you don’t want to watch just to get to one that you do.

There’s no need to worry about running out of content with 5by either, as you’ll get access to new video content daily, working viral videos as well as hidden gems into the mix. YouTube is great, but sometimes having a more lean back and carefree watching experience is just better suited. You may not have all the time in the world to pick and choose what you want to watch, or maybe you’re just not in the mood to scroll through tons of content looking for the exact thing you want. Sometimes it’s just easier to sit back and only have to hit the play button. 5by is free, and it’s available in the Play Store now so if you’re ready to have a personal video butler, hit the link and go grab the install.
