HTC One Successor Gets Rendered with Sense 6 and Android 4.4 KitKat On Board

Before we get started here, it’s important that we remind everyone what a render is. As of lately, we’ve been getting a lot of flack for the renders we’ve been posting. People saying they’re fake, etc., well duh. These are renders. Which means they were made by fans as to what they think the next HTC One will look like or want it to look like. I can tell you right now, that I highly doubt the HTC One (2014)’s corners are going to look like that.

What we have here in these new renders from Jinesh Shah is an even lighter version of Sense, dubbed Sense 6.0. It’s also got the translucent status and navigation bar, that we’ve seen in KitKat. We’re seeing 5-icons across on this device, which is nice to see, even if it is still a 4.7-inch device. You’ll notice that it still has the Boomsound speakers that we have grown to love, and they seem to be even bigger. Which we won’t be complaining about that. I’d expect to see the new HTC One unveiled at Mobile World Congress or at a separate event just prior to it, so HTC can beat Samsung to releasing the Galaxy S5. Some of the rumored specs include a Snapdragon 800 processor, a 5-inch 2k display, and at least 2GB of RAM. As far as the camera goes, I’m hoping for a 8MP Ultrapixel camera or just a regular 13MP camera with OIS. Similar to what LG gave us in the G2, as that camera is amazing.

It’s a very nice render done by +Jinesh Shah over on Google+, you can see all the images over on his original post on Google+. It looks nice, I just don’t think it’ll happen, what about the rest of you? Let us know what you think about these renders in the comments below.
