Android Holiday Gift Ideas Day #21: LG G2

For those of you looking to get a phone for someone to go under the tree, you’ll want to check out the LG G2. We named it the Best Android Smartphone of the year. And with good reason. The LG G2 is available on all the US carriers, at varying prices of course. It’s also got a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz processor, 5.2-inch 1080p IPS+ display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 3000mAh battery. We reviewed the LG G2 back in September and were very impressed by this device. It’s been put on sale numerous times since it’s release as well. It is running Android 4.2, and LG says that it will get an update to Android 4.4 – KitKat within the next few months. Which is great for a company that hasn’t been the best with software updates in the past.

For those wondering about the price, the LG G2 on Sprint is$0.01 on contract right now and $599 off contract. Verizon’s G2 is available for $2.49 on contract and $604.99 off contract while the AT&T model is $29.99 on contract and $629 off contract. Definitely some good pricing here, as you’ll be paying about $199 for the G2 on contract at all the carrier stores. So Amazon is a pretty good choice for grabbing a LG G2.

Right now Amazon is offering the LG G2 in white and black on AT&T and Sprint. However the Verizon variant is only available in black right now. We’ve got all the links down below for you to grab a G2 on your carrier of choice. Additionally, these are available for Amazon Prime’s free 2-day shipping. So if you still want this in time for Christmas, you’re going to want to sign up for Amazon Prime. Which is an amazing service. I’ve been using it for a couple years and love it!
