Camera Awesome App Now Available for Android – Prepare to be “Awesomized”

I am a huge photography buff and as cameras on our smartphones continue to improve, I am relying more and more on my Galaxy Note 3 to take pictures than I am with my Canon DSLR. Oh, I still take the heavy Canon to take heavy pictures, but for the most part, I am happy to rely on my Note 3 as a daily snapper. Not with my Note 3, but with other smartphones I have owned, most notably my Droid Bionic, I was always looking for a better camera app than the one that came on the Bionic, and I settled for Camera ZOOM FX.

After you select a photo, you can start working with some of the screens and options to adjust your photo, using multiple tools, to just the way you want it. After you save, or “awesomize” your photo, you can begin sharing it on one of the many social media sites that the app will allow:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Sinaweibo
  • Google+
  • Instagram
  • Photobucket
  • Picasa
  • Tumblr
  • YouTube
  • Flickr
  • You may also share to any other services via supporting apps installed on your device

Camera Awesome Text and Filters

Camera Awesome also allows the user to apply any number of Textures or Filter to your photo, all with a few simple presses on the image. It is clear that Camera Awesome takes our photographs seriously and it is nice to see this “awesome” app brought over for us Android users – it is still in version 1.0, so there will probably be a few bugs that will need worked out, but all good things come to those that wait. Let us know in the comments or on Google+ is you generally use a third party camera app, or do you prefer the app that came with your device.
