I know, I know… this isn’t Asphalt 8 but its still a great game with stunning graphics and pretty killer racing gameplay. *spoiler* Asphalt 8 is somewhere on this list as well. Now then, Asphalt 7 was last years continuation of the popular asphalt series. Race in over 15 different tracks with over 60 cars to choose from. Of course you’ll have to work for ownership of that many awesome vehicles. Multiplayer in this game was revamped from the previously “only gameloft live multiplayer”, allowing you to connect and race against friends locally or online which gave the racers an option to play with friends that were on the same network. Expect the standard Asphalt fare here, just with new graphics, cars, tracks, and features. Another great racing game for under a buck. What could be wrong with that.

5. Shine Runner
Racing is not all about the glory, it’s also about the money. Especially in shine runner. You’ll have to be the fastest flat bottom boat in the water if you want to make the most profit. Peddle your illegal goods like moonshine and tobacky, but be quick about it, because the faster you go the more money you make. Watch our for the cops though, they’ll be gunn’n for ya if you get too notorious. One of the better features about Shine Runner besides its completely zany gameplay, is the destructible environments. 4. Real Racing 3
Real Racing 3 is without a doubt one of the best racing games out there on Android. The graphics are on par with consoles, and the gameplay is jam packed with tons of racing action all at the fantastic price of free. The game is highly detailed, so make sure you have plenty of space to support the game storage. at least 1.2-1.5gb. The niche in Real Racing 3 is the list of cars you race with. At least thats one feature. The cars are all real licensed vehicles and a mix of everyday muscle and imports to your higher end luxury and super cars. Race with over 50 cars, in a 22 car race grid on tons of real tracks. Real Racing 3 not only has an impressive racing line up, but changed the way you race against your friends and other racers. Introducing the time-shift multiplayer feature was a way for racers to compete against friends and other online players even if they weren’t currently online. Real Racing 3 offers plenty of eye candy, lots of upscale racing action and is truly one of the better racing experiences you will have on mobile.
3. Need For Speed Most Wanted
The Need For Speed franchise is probably one of the most popular racing series of games to date, and with Most Wanted being the most recent. The game saw a multi platform launch and while you can’t race against others that are playing on console or other platforms(sorry no cross platform play), you still get the same great experience as those who play via a different medium. The graphics will blow your mind, and the controls are so buttery smooth that you may want to fire up the toaster and have a slice. Keeping the theme of previous most wanted games, you’ll have to finish races first while evading the authorities to avoid losing your cash and damaging your ride. Mod your car, earn speed points to unlock new rides, and keep up on the most wanted list to see who is “the most wanted”. If you want a console quality racing experience, this is it. The only sad thing is (and shame on you EA for this), it’s not compatible with the new nexus 7 yet. And who knows if it will be. Still, even with that set back, this is one of the best racing games available and certainly one of the most fun.
2. Asphalt 8:Airborne
Drive fast and become airborne. The newest in the asphalt series is insanely addictive and better in every possible way than the last. Newly revamped multiplayer lets you race against your friends “ghosts” on certain tracks. Try to beat their time. Of course the same local wifi multiplayer feature is still present. Choose from 47 high performance luxury vehicles and upgrade them to be faster and more powerful. This is airborne, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to hit ramps and perform stunts while catching as much air as possible. There is so much content in this game its almost unimaginable, and will give you many, many hours of gameplay which means tons and tons of enjoyment. There are 8 race seasons and 180 events in career mode, so that should tell you how just how much you have to start with. Asphalt 8 also sees the addition of new drift gate and infected game modes which are some of my favorite races. Asphalt 8 comes equipped with 9 new tracks, fantastic visual graphics and a slick soundtrack to keep you pumped while you race. Once again, this high octane racing game from gameloft will set you back a mere $0.99 but trust me its worth it.
