Verizon have updated the HTC One for the first time with very minor changes and updates. The headlining update in the 1.10.605.10 update is the fix the device lock-ups that people have been reporting. Unfortunately, this is not the Android 4.3 update that Sprint users have been enjoying but, it’s something at least.

Verizon’s Spectrum 2 has received an update, bringing the software up to VS93022A. You can take a look at the changelog above but overall, this is more of an app update than anything else. However, it is nice to see that Verizon is still keeping up updates to this device.

For those still using the original hardened Commando from Casio, there’s another update coming from Verizon. This one brings with it the security patch from Google and rights a few wrongs. Overall, this still keeps the aging device on Gingerbread but, it does bring with it some needed tweaks.

HD Voice comes to Sprint’s venerable EVO 4G LTE with the 3.17.651.4 software update. Unfortunately, this is not Android 4.3 but, it’s got some nice tweaks and bug fixes. This is a staged release from Sprint and so you might get the update right away but, you should see a notification in the next day or so. Overall, this isn’t the best update of the week but, perhaps it’s the groundwork of something bigger to come.

Sprint users are getting treated to Android 4.3 on the HTC One. The software version you’re looking for is 3.04.651.2 and it comes in at a whopping 574MB. The update lists Android 4.3 and “Sense 5 enhancements”. It’s a sizable update so, it’s perhaps better to do this over WiFi than it is over 4G but, the choice is yours.
