Google Search Gets another update

Late last night, Google Search received another update. Although currently its not known as to what is new with this update. I’m willing to bet it’s fixing a few bugs found in the last version. As usual Google hasn’t updated the Changelog on Google Play just yet.

This week is an exciting week if you live in the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Russia and Switzerland, as those countries just got Google Play Music along with All Access. Trust me, you’re going to love All Access, it’s the best $10/month I ever spent.

This week, Intuit launched a new app, called Quicken 2014. It’s feature packed, but it appears that to actually use it you’ll need an internet connection. That may not seem like a big deal for most people. But it’s still a bit odd, although I can see why it’s necessary.

This week, Chrome for Android also got a nice update. It got an update to support new gesture support and much more:

  • Swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to quickly switch tabs.
  • Drag vertically down from the toolbar to enter into the tab switcher view.
  • Drag down from the menu to open the menu and select the item you want without having to lift your finger.

This week, Motorola also updated their Chrome extension, Motorola Connect. What Motorola Connect does is it allows you to send messages and send/receive calls through your computer using your phone number. However it’s only compatible with the Moto X, DROID Ultra, DROID Mini or DROID Maxx.
