Black Friday 2017 Deals: Find Great Deals on Android Smartphones, TV’s, Smart Speakers, Chromebooks and More.
The Fall is always an exciting time for Samsung fans as the South Korean giant release new products for the Holiday Season. 2013 has been no different and this year’s Galaxy Note is clearly the best one yet, with a companion in the Galaxy Gear, too. Both of the devices are now available to purchase all over the globe in a whopping 140 countries. Of course, carrier availability in your corner of the globe might not be for another fortnight or so but, we’re pretty sure that the device is available to purchase somehow near you.
The Galaxy Gear is now up for sale around the world and depending on where you are, it’s not exactly cheap. Here in the US you’re looking at $299 for the device on its own, from carriers or otherwise. With some retailers offering a free Galaxy Gear with the Note 3 around the world, today might not be a bad day to see what’s out there when it comes to purchasing a new smartphone, you might very well walk away with a free watch. Of course, if you were to buy the two together then you’re looking at a lot of cash going to Sammy’s pocket.
Concerning the US of A, the Note 3 isn’t launching on carriers until the beginning of next month. With AT&T and T-Mobile launching October 1st and 2nd, respectively. Meanwhile, Sprint is launching October 4th and Verizon is bringing up the rear as usual, launching the Note 3 October 10th (thankfully though, the home button won’t be labelled with “Verizon” this time). As did the Note II, this year’s Note is going to cost $299 or so on contract, with all carriers offering LTE support as they should.
For those that just can’t wait, Negri Electronics is selling both the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 3 (although the Gear is listed for pre-order, with a delivery date of 09/28). The Galaxy Gear is going to set you back $400 or so from Negri and the Galaxy Note 3 can cost anywhere from $700 to $800. Of course, it goes without saying that it might well be a good idea to wait for your carrier to launch the devices. If you’ve gotten your hands on a Note 3 or a Galaxy Gear in your part of the world, leave us a comment telling us where you’re from and how you like your new toy!
