Celebrating Google’s 15th Anniversary; We Look Back on Google’s First 21 Employees and Ask Where are They Now?

September 29, 2013 - Written By Cory McNutt

It has been 15 years since Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google in the garage of a modest house in Menlo Park, California. Now, fifteen years later their stock averages $875 a share and the company has a net worth of approximately $200-$250 billion; not bad for a couple of guys in a garage. Many employees have come through Google’s door, left their mark of creativity, and most have moved on. Not counting Larry Page or Sergey Brin, only seven Googlers still work for the search and advertising giant. We thought it would be interesting to see how long they stayed at Google and where they took all of that talent when they left.
