We’d been hearing rumors about this for some time now and in the week, Tesco went ahead and made things official. Tesco will be offering the Hudl tablet for £119 in stores and online. As you might expect, Tesco have done their best to deliver a tablet that cuts a compromise on price and performance. This is not something out of the “Everyday Value” section. In fact, you get a quad-core CPU, a 7-inch 1440 x 900 display, a rear-facing camera and there’s even accessories available for it. All-in-all, not a bad deal from Tesco. You can read more here. Let us know whether or not you’re looking to get one of these guys.

EE has taken off pretty quickly this past year but, they’re showing no signs of slowing down just yet. In fact, they’re turning on 4G LTE in some more towns and cities. Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Beaconsfield, Blackburn, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Chester-le-Street, Fleet, Gerrards Cross, Halifax, Hinckley, Houghton-le-Spring and Reigate should now have 4G LTE from EE. With this, the network can now say they’ve covered 60% of the UK’s population in 4G, which is much more than O2 and Vodafone can say.

Both the Xperia Z1 and the Galaxy S4 Zoom are now available on Vodafone’s 4G network. There are various plans available for the two devices and they’re both classed as being “4G Ready” which means once their LTE network goes live in your area, you’ll be able to take advantage of those new and improved speeds. The Xperia Z1 is perhaps the device that most of you have been waiting for with its 20.7MP camera, Snapdragon 800 CPU and that sleek design that debuted with the Xperia Z.
