ZTE N861 Hits Public Mobile

Public Mobile now has a new budget phone running Android. It’s the ZTE N861, which has a 4.3-inch display, 1GHz processor, Android 4.0, a 5MP and a 1.3MP camera, along with a microSD card slot. No word on the internal storage, but it does run for $199 outright. So not a bad price.

Galaxy Mega Coming to Canada Soon

If you thought the Galaxy Note 2 was too small, or the rumored 5.68-inch Galaxy Note 3 was too small. There’s something else coming to Canada for you. The Galaxy Mega 5.7 and 6.3 are making their way to Canada “in the coming weeks”. These are some big phones and as expected have huge batteries.

TELUS Now has 80% of Canadians covered with LTE

This week, TELUS announced that they have almost 80% of Canadians covered with LTE. That’s a big deal, because next is VoLTE, which is definitely something we want, whether you’re in Canada or another country.

ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 Launched this Week for $159

This week, ASUS launched their MeMo Pad HD 7 in Canada. It’ll cost you $159 for a rather mid-range tablet. It features a 7-inch 1280×800 resolution display, 16GB of internal storage, 5MP and 1.2MP cameras, 1.2GHz quad-core processor all for $159 outright.

Videotron offers Unlimited Voice and 6GB of Data for $60/month

Videotron has brought back their promo plan of unlimited voice along with 6GB of data for just $60/month. That actually looks like a good plan, since here in the US it’ll cost you nearly $100/month just to get 2GB of data with unlimited voice.

Nexus 7 (2013) Now available through Google Play

This week, Google Play finally expanded the new Nexus 7 availability to our friends in Canada.  The 32GB will cost you CA$269 which is the same price as we pay here in the US for the 32GB version. How many of have picked one up already?
