Not to long ago, Google released their new version of Google Play. Which had a major design revamp and was version 4.0.25. Now there’s a new version rolling out and available for download. This one is version 4.0.26. So it’s just a point higher which means there more than likely isn’t a whole lot of differences in this one compared to the previous version. Probably just a few bug fixes, and maybe the ground work for some new features being announced at Google I/O next month. But we don’t know for sure yet.

The update will be getting pushed out, as usual with Play Store updates. But who wants to wait? We’ve got the download down below. If the link stops working, let us know in the comments and we’ll get a mirror up for you.

As far as a changelog goes, we don’t have one yet. I wouldn’t expect anything more than a bunch of bug fixes, especially since its the first release after a major design update. You can probably expect Android Police to do an APK teardown pretty soon as well.

How many of like the 4.0.x version of the Play Store? I’ve heard a lot of people on Google+, Twitter, Facebook, etc., saying that it looks a lot like Apple’s App Store. That’s where I have to disagree. I actually really like the cards interface. It looks a lot better than the old version. But what do our readers think? Let us know in the comments below.

So there ya go, v4.0.26 of the Google Play Store. If you notice anything new, be sure to throw them in the comments down below so we can all see.
