| March 14, 2013 | 9 Replies

For a lot of people out there, it’s the event we’ve been waiting for. The announcement of Samsung’s “next big thing”. After all of the rumors and wild speculation, will the Galaxy S IV live up to all of the hype? Well, we suppose that’s up to you and it’ll be determined by how well it sells and whether or not it takes off just like the Galaxy S III did. Regardless of whether or not you’re a Samsung fan, there’s no denying how popular and how strong a brand the Galaxy S line has become. Competitors will be watching closely to see what Samsung have to show off and even if they never admit it, Apple will be watching closely as well, with perhaps some sort of fear.

Samsung are known for throwing some crazy press launches in the past and we’ve seen glimpses of some kookiness with their teaser campaign featuring our friend Jeremy and his special box. There are dancers popping up in New York and everything. It’s a shame not to be there, right? Well, there’s no telling how they’ll be announcing the Galaxy S IV but, thanks to Sammy broadcasting it live across the Internet, we’ll all be able to see just what they have to show off for us.

Don’t worry if you’re busy or can’t catch the show, we’ll have detailed coverage about the device, its features and all you need to know. You’ll be able to read what we think about this latest from Samsung and we hope that we can engage in a healthy discussion with you all! So, stay tuned to Android Headlines long after the event has finished!

Take a look at the video below to catch the show live, it’s starting at 7 PM EST and 4 PM PST so make sure you’re ready and waiting to catch the show.

About Tom Dawson ()

For years now I've had a heavy interest in technology, I grew up with 8-bit computers and gaming consoles and have been using Linux for years now. Android saved me from the boredom of iOS years ago and I've loved every minute of it. As a big reader and writer nothing pleases me more than to write about the exciting world of Android and technology as a whole.

7pm EST and 10pm PST? You mean 4pm PST?

    • Tom Dawson

      Hi Nitin,

Thanks for pointing this out. I’m here in the UK and I got my time differences mixed up and put +3 and not -3! It’s been fixed now :)

the real question here is not of time but of… Tom, are YOU ready 4 the Next Galaxy???? w00t!!!

        • Tom Dawson

I’m not sure any of us are ready for this. Surely, this amount of excitement must lead to cerebral overload. A certain commenter might well be hyper-ventilating right about now…
