Well last Tuesday, we received emails that the Nexus 4 would be going back on sale at 12 noon PST that day. Now today, our friends in Canada are getting the same email, except is says “Canada Only” of course since it’s for Canada and not other parts of the world at least not today. Hopefully we won’t be seeing a repeat of the problems we saw in the US last week, where it was sold out then available then sold out again and available again. We also saw shipping times go all the way up to 9-10 weeks before the 8GB versions finally sold out.
For those of you that may have forgotten about the Nexus 4’s specs, here they are again to refresh your memory:
- 4.7″ IPS+ display at 1280×768 resolution
- Quad-Core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 8GB or 16GB internal storage; no SD card support
- 8MP rear facing camera; 1.3MP front-facing camera
- 2100mAh battery
- Android 4.2
Yes, this is Google’s flagship phone for 2012, but they can’t seem to find a way to sell it. They always sell out in minutes, or their servers crash making the buying experience for customers even worse. So we’ll keep our fingers crossed that our Canadian friends are able to order their precious Nexus 4s a lot easier and quicker than those of us in the US did last week.
You’ve got about 40 minutes before the link is scheduled to go live, but we know how Google likes to make these things go live before hand. So you might want to check the page on the Google Play Store around 11:30am PST/2:30pm EST, just so you don’t miss out on ordering your Nexus 4. We know how fast these things are selling. So which Nexus 4 are you planning on picking up? The 8GB or the 16GB? I must say the 8GB is the perfect size for those that have unlimited data, the cloud will become your best friend. Let us know in the comments which one you’re planning on ordering.
