Angry Birds Star Wars Game Play Videos Revealed

November 2, 2012 - Written By Justin Diaz

In a galaxy far far away, or rather just right here in our own eco system Angry Birds Star Wars which is the newest installment to come from Rovio Mobile is just around the corner. November 8th is the slated release date for this game with probably the most popular theme of any Angry Birds game. That’s not too long of a wait for us Angry Birds fans out there, seeing as how it’s already Nov. 2nd. It’s shaping up to be a good month for video games. Although Angry Birds Star Wars is still close to a week away, Rovio has released a few videos of the gameplay so we can peer into the lives of the birds while they battle the dark side.

You can play as multiple characters which include the bird versions of Luke, Han Solo, Princess leia, R2D2, C3PO, and Chewey of course. Each bird will have their own special powers just like the birds in the regular game have their own special attribute.

I have yet to finish any of the Angry Birds games all the way through. Hey what can I say, I’m addicted to the AAA titles. However every installment of Rovio’s  madly addictive little game are fun and I keep them around for a quick run through here and there. Plus what could be better than two of our favorite cult phenomenon’s mashed together in such a way that it makes us all warm inside? Don’t have an answer do you? That’s cause you know you’ll love it just as much as we do over here at androidheadlines. In addition to releasing some game play trailers for our enjoyment, Rovio also had some comments for us on the game itself.

“This is the best Angry Birds game we’ve ever done. It’s the best parts of Angry Birds with all new cutting-edge gameplay set in in a galaxy far, far away” – CMO of Rovio Mobile LTD, Peter Vesterbacka

It looks like I’m not the only one who couldn’t resist making a cheesy star wars reference. Are you guys all amped up to play this? I know I am. At least to check it out. Watch the videos and comment in the thread below what your thoughts are. We always love to hear from you.
