For those that have not purchased their Nexus 7 yet, you’ll want to before the end of September as Google is ending the $25 Google Play Credit as of September 30th. If you don’t already own a Nexus 7, why not? For the price, it’s got great hardware, comes with a $25 Google Play Credit and a free copy of Transformers 3, plus it’s a Nexus.

And here are the spec’s on the Google/ASUS Nexus 7 that was announced back at Google I/O with Android 4.1 – Jellybean.  Running a Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2MP front-facing camera, and a 7-inch IPS display with a 1280×800 resolution. Along with Wifi, bluetooth, GPS and all the normal features. Oh and it’s only 0.41-inches thick.

I pre-ordered mine as soon as it was announced and live on the Google Play Store, and have loved it. So if you’re on the fence about purchasing one, you may want to head to Gamestop or Walmart and check out the Nexus 7’s there and see how you like them.

Anyone still waiting to pick up a Nexus 7?
