The Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD was announced back in January at CES and it was going to basically be a mini-sequel for the OG Skyrocket with a bigger screen and better resolution. Samsung’s Ryan Bidan told TheVerge today that his company has decided to pass on the new Skyrocket because it didn’t make sense to launch it at the same time as the Galaxy S III.
