CTIA hasn’t even started yet but phones already being announced in order to gain as much spotlight as possible.
The latest one is the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, a refresh (Android Style) of the popular Sidekick series of phones that were previously loved by the younger generation in its Danger OS powered days. Check T-Mobile’s official video for a small preview and explanation of what the Sidekick 4G will offer.
Can It Re-Ignite The Sidekick Brand?
Will it kickstart the brand enough to attract its intended demograph? Or will it be another Android powered device with yet another skin? Will it offer deep Facebook integration like the INQ Cloud Touch or HTC ChaCha? We wont know until we get one in our hands to use but I fail to see what this can offer that any other keyboard equipped Android phone can’t. Maybe their will be some surprises when we get to test the hardware and software. No word on arrival either but hopefully by the end of CTIA we will have that as well as the specifications.
