Notion Ink News at last: More Support Staff

For past few weeks, there have no news from Notion Ink. According to Rohan Shravan, CEO of Notion Ink, there are many activities in the background along with shipment of the second batch of Adam tablets. First, they have increased the number of staff for the support team. This change has not only led to support staff outnumbering the development team, but also represents a hope to provide efficient after-sales support.

Funding and Operational Changes for Notion Ink

Secondly, Shravan said that the company is undergoing another round of funding, but no details regarding the funding have been disclosed yet. Shravan claims that it is a “major operational change” and addition of new management employees is in progress. Along with this, there are also plans to set up sales and support centers in the US, India and Germany.

Honeycomb for Notion Ink Adam under development

Notion Ink carried out the process of porting Adam’s Eden UI to Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb). Currently, their developer team is focussing towards gaming and the UI/design/animation department has been increased. Quickoffice is officially released for Adam tablets. Notion Ink is also adding books for Adam which are on the way but will require some UI changes for Honeycomb.
