T-Mobile G2X To Be The Carriers First Dual Core Offering
The LG Optimus 2X re-branded as the T-mobile G2X is beast of a Android device and in a current batch of benchmarking was found to be the fastest offering available. While Verizon and AT&T have dual core options in their lineups Sprint and T-Mobile have been seemingly left out until this announcement leaving Sprint as the only U.S. carrier not apart of the dual core party.
T-Mobile G2X is Bringing The Goods
The phone is already in testing and an update to Android 2.3 is planned for a few weeks after launch. It will also be a “4G” offering on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network running at either (14.4 or 21 Mbps). T-Mobile appears to be sticking with their G branding and this will be the first non HTC device to sport the moniker.
Although all previous G branded devices ran stock Android it is expected that the T-Mobile G2X will run LG’s custom interface. This announcement is great new for LG and T-Mobile customers is the T-Mobile G2X on your short list of possible upgrades?
