Desert Winds and Android Reveal some Mind-blowing Graphics

Desert Winds by Southern Interactive Brings On The Intense!

How many of you have wanted to have games on your Android? And I don’t mean sudoku and chess. I’m talking graphics that will make you think you are staring at a 42 inch plasma screen running a console. Well, check this video out for size.

Desert Winds Video Overview

This is the game Desert Winds, a game produced by Southern Interactive (a Swedish gaming company). This game will give a standard console gaming system a run for its money. And the best part? It can be found running on a device that could, well for all intents and purpose, fit in your pocket.

Why Desert Winds and Games like it will Be a Hit

I applaud any gaming company (especially one willing to partner with a smratphone hardware manufacturer) that can take the graphics and gameplay from God of War AND Tomb Raider, and apply that level of awesomeness to a game designed for Android. While this was created as a demo to show what the Snapdragon chipset can do, I can only hope that there will be more actual games like this released for my phone/tablet, because when sitting in the waiting room at the doctor, what’s better than some skull-splitting, graphic intensive games like Desert Winds.
