Verizon is pushing a new update for their VCast Music app, something that’s been a long time coming for most Verizon Android users. The new app allows you to download full tracks, ringtones, ringback tones for a lowered price. Depending on the track purchased, the price will be either 69 cent, 99 cents of $1.29. But beware, the new VCast App will only run on smartphones running Android 2.1 or later.

Verizon Wireless VP Greg Haller has already stated, “”Verizon Wireless is taking a leap forward with V CAST Music,”. He furthered this statement by saying, “We’re bringing the different kinds of music people love to have on their phones together in one, easy-to-use application, making it easy for customers to get what they want at lower prices.”

The new VCast app will allow users to not only download music on to their smartphone, but allow them to move the music onto a computer for listening at home.
