Mac-Android Divide Widens

February 28, 2011 - Written By Jordan Yost

It seems that Android 3.0 doesn’t play nice with Mac OS.

Those that are lucky enough to have a device that supports Android 3.0 have been experiencing troubles when it comes to transferring files between their device and their Mac laptop. It’s unclear as to whether this is an Android issue or a Mac issue but this could put a damper on Android’s open platform if it continues being closed to Macs.

Could this be a move by Google to get Android users to buy their Chrome OS notebooks? Comments are welcome below.

Thankfully, Android has a downloadable file transfer utility to solve this problem, which is accessible here.  PC users won’t need it.
