Mid-Range HTC Android Brings Back Call Buttons, Phone with Trackball Looks like Mini Nexus One

HTC came to the realization after the Nexus One that phones with ample screen space 3.5″ and above have no need for a trackball.  They do seem to feel that smaller midrange devices could still use one as the render shows an upcoming phone that looks very much like a mini Nexus One.  It features a front facing camera and not much else is known at this time.

The next render features a different HTC with a front facing camera and another peculiar addition.  It appears to have a trackpad, along with send and end buttons that have returned seeming out of left field.

HTC seems to be coming to the market with a load of different form factors and price ranges.  It is nice to see some differentiation in their lineup. However, I still question the point of bringing back the familiar red and green buttons.
