Trillian Chat out of Beta and on your Android Phone

Trillian chat is out and ready to help you keep track of your busy social life!  Trillian has been around since 2000 but has just been released for Android.   Don’t go thinking this is some quick port job; Trillian has been redone from the ground up to take advantage of all that Android has to offer.

Trillian’s big selling point is the ability to allow you to tie many different IM applications into one.  These include AIM, Windows Messenger, Yahoo, Facebook and of course Google Talk.  Trillian automatically pulls all your IMs to your phone through cloud synchronization so you don’t have to worry about constantly refreshing to stay on top of your conversations.  Some of the big selling points for the app are tabbed chat so you can switch back and forth between multiple conversations,  landscape mode so all you OG Droid owners will be happy, and the ability to send emoticons, photos and of course buzz your friends if they aren’t paying attention.

Don’t any of you out there with a phone running Android 1.6 (Donut) feel left out; Trillian has support for your phones too!  Of course newer phones are supported also with all the shiny hi-res graphics you can handle.  Trillian will set you back $4.99 in the Market but it seems a small price to pay to keep your busy social life on track!
