Customers with carrier TELUS can now join the Froyo crowd, with Samsung finally making the Android 2.2 OS upgrade available on their website. Earlier reports were pushing the update sometime into 2011, with Samsung saying that their software was being tested and wanted to see its release towards the end of December, which just happened to work out.
Great news for customers falling behind on the OS front. The upgrade itself is through Kies and provides Adobe Flash Player 10.1, faster performance, new security features, enhanced exchange integration, and your various tweeks and bug fixes. To get your Fascinate Froyo ready, you can head to the official Samsung download page for instructions. Enjoy.
