If the HTC EVO Shift 4G will be its official name, we now have “official” unofficial pics of the new Sprint Android device in the wild, thanks to a source of news site PhoneArena. The Shift 4G for Sprint packs some of its big brother’s features, but is now rumored to have a processor clocking 800 MHz instead of 1 GHz. It does however have that 4G punch, if it’s available in your area. The network has just expanded into Denver, Colorado and Bridgeport, Conn. with San Fran coming right after Christmas on the 28th.
The latest rumor of the phone’s launch is sometime in January, debuting during CES or shortly after. With these new pictures, you can rest assured that the Shift is out there somewhere in its final stages before release. We’ve seen a few pics before these latest, but you can never be sure whats real and whats not, especially for a device that’s been known by a few names. Take a peak at the front slider pic and back shot below.
