Google Books App Now Available in the Market

Like reading? Google has just released Books into the Android Market. Of course you do have other ereader options on Android, but this effort from Google should be worth a try.

According to its Market page, Google Books provides you a selection of nearly 3 million ebooks covering all catagories. Like all great applications, Books is customizable, so you can change the background color, adjust text size, fonts, etc. Now since this is a Google app it will sync with your Gmail account and allow you to view any ebooks you have downloaded from any capable device. You just need to sign in, select more, go to Books, and then to Google eBookstore Now.

Prices of course will vary depending on what you’re hunting for, and as always there are plenty of free choices. Be sure to check out the gallery below for a few screenshots of the app itself, and scan the QR code below or head over to the Android Market to download.
