VZ Navigator for Droid 2 GLOBAL enters Android Market

November 2, 2010 - Written By Scott Beard

The coming “sometime soon” Droid 2 Global smartphone is getting ahead of itself with what appears to be its very own navigation app now showing up in the Android market. The VZ Navigator app is Droid 2 Global-specific and is priced at $9.99 a MONTH. Now that seems a little pricey to me, but if navigating is your thing, the cost might be worth you finding your way.

The VZ app comes packing premium voice navigation along with your normal 3D maps and traffic routing services, and spoken incident alerts as well. Depending on what your travel plans include, you can perform location-based searches, get local gas prices, movie and event information, and also perform voice-activated address entries.

The word on the street is that the Droid 2 Global will be released sometime in November, but there hasn’t been any official announcements as of yet, so the clock is ticking. In the meantime, if you wanna check out the app yourself,  hit the Android market and search VZ Nav Global or use the code below.
