One Laptop Per Child, Gets A Marvell Donation!

Marvell has open up the “Goodie Bag” this year for a great organization One Laptop Per Child, but instead of giving the money t continue their laptop program, it is to be used for the Development of an Android Tablet (love it). With some new founded support this should bring OLPC back into production and get some amazing Androids in kids hands.

Marvell the chipset maker gave a cool 5.6 million dollars (that’s right) million for this adventure, and with so many tablets popping up on the market and many prices reasonable, I am sure something can be made that will defy the odds and be sturdy enough even for kids.

I myself think this is truly amazing, and sometimes rare.  Marvell believes in the OLPC Program and I think we should all help out the best we can. hopefully, well see a nice prototype at the CES show in Fabulous Las Vegas.
