Music Streaming on the go – Muziic App Review!

October 31, 2010 - Written By Chris Yackulic

App Name: Muziic

Description: Muziic lets your Android phone search internet radio stations, music from YouTube, and videos to stream on the go.

How it works: The app allows you to search and browse through music tracks, popular Internet radio stations, YouTube videos with music, popular albums, and even lets you create a play list of your favorite tracks.

Opinion: The app has potential but not the easiest to use. If you press the menu button when you’re streaming the media it navigates you back to the applications home screen and stops play back. While streaming video, there is no way to skip certain parts of the video. You’ll have to wait and watch/listen to the beginning of the video. Enough ranting, try it out for yourself!

  • Speed (2/5) – Often lagged and skipped, even on WiFi
  • Features (3/5) – Free, cant fast forward content, play lists
  • Theme (3/5) – simple, nothing special
  • Overall (3/5) – a lot of potential but needs to be easier to use

Free streaming

Lets you create play lists

Alternative way to view YouTube videos

No streaming limit

Lagged way too many times

Can’t navigate easily

Needs Android  2.2

No widget

Conclusion: Although the application allows you to stream music on the go for free, it wasn’t the easiest thing to use. Until you get very familiar with it, I wouldn’t recommend using it while driving. Being able to fast forward will help the app a lot.
