Android Finally Gets an Official Release of Tetris

Well it’s about time we finally get a version of Tetris that won’t get pulled from the marketplace.  Tetris Holdings has officially released Tetris for Android and it is basically the same thing that the iPhone has had for quite some time.  When you download the game you will be greeted with two different modes Magic and Marathon mode.  Marathon mode gives you a specific number of lines you have to clear before going to the next level.  Magic mode is more along the lines of the classic version of Tetris but it adds a twist with power-ups.  You can pick up Tetris on the Android marketplace for $3.99.
