Heard about the T-Mobile G2 ROM that’s been leaked and showing up all over the place?  The phone isn’t being released until September 29th, so what’s the big deal?  Well, there’s one goody you might want to snag from the wild system dump: A version of Google Voice with 2 widgets.  Here’s the text message widget:

There’s one for your Voice Inbox as well:

You can download Widgeted Voice googlevoice- at MegaUpload.  McP77 over at XDA first shared it there.  Be sure to uninstall Google Voice before installing this version or the widgets won’t show up.

There’s an additional treat there as well: a seven screen version of Launcher 2 (default launcher for Android starting at version 2.0).  Read the comments before installing that one; it one may create some anomalies if you’re using a smartphone with a custom UI (MotoBlur, Sence, etc).  One user said the phone dialer no longer worked, and that it added five new wallpapers.  There’s a mix of success and failure with getting the launcher to install, or the dialer to work if it does.  The seven-screen launcher appears to be stock Froyo (Android OS 2.2).
