September’s issue of Consumer Reports ranks smartphones. Eight Android phones made the ” Recommend List”, a big win for Android. The list of the winners are:

Some surprising items on the list, the motorola devour beat out the palm pre plus. This is a surprise because the devour was not a popular phone and the palm pre was wildly popular.

Android is growing at record paces. This report shows that one of the reasons why is the quality of the handset. Of course the operating system has something to do with it.
