Get Paid to Check-in for Android through Wereward

July 13, 2010 - Written By Chris Yackulic

In a world where check-in apps are as plentiful as the phones they are installed on, it takes something special to make it worthwhile to download one. Check-in apps can be seriously annoying for those who could care less about that. But what if an app could so more than simply tell your friends where you are at the moment when they may or may not really care? Well WeReward has filled that role and has recently launched their Android app. Not only is it a check-in app but also a way for businesses to advertise themselves and drive business their way and a way for you to get paid while checking in. How does this work? Take a look at the video below.

But because of the way they have arranged it, businesses also profit from it by offering points to visit there and make a purchase. How does this happen?

I see this as an excellent way to take merely bugging your friends with you location and what you are doing, to a place where you can get paid to do the same thing. Actually this is a tool that will allow you and business owners to receive rewards. It will not only return you money that you spent, which you would probably spend anyway, but it will also allow the business owner to compete for your business over other business by offering you more points to come there.
